The Brookings Fire Department needed space that worked for a crew living and training in the building. Sunkota’s work included a training room sized for a full department meeting, a commercial kitchen with stainless prep areas and hanging gear racks, and a public entry and corridor that keeps visitors clear of the apparatus bays.
